You have two thoughts going on in your head about a
situation. One is of the knowledge of God's word and the
other is from outside soures. One of these thoughts is
going to win. Question: How did you learn your job? If you
are like most people, you had to gain knowledge of the
piticular job, once hired you were assigned a trainer.
This trainer is a person that the company feels will teach
you the proper way in line with the company. You are doing
exactly as your trainer tells you, if you do not you will
have unfavorable consequences. Now suppose someone other
than your trainer comes and tells you to do the job
different from what your trainer has taught and is teaching
you. "what will you do?" The other person's way may seem
easier but you are instructed to listen to the trainer and
do as they tell you. At this point you have a choice, do
like your trainer says and keep your job or do like the
other person says and possibly lose your job. Well, I
believe the answer is obvious, you will continue to listen
to the person the company assigned to you. You will reject
(cast down, not listen to) the other person. So it is with
the Word of God. We are instructed to reject, cast down
"every" high thing that exalts (comes against) the
knowledge of God's Word. The problem is, we have been
listening to the "other" person instead continuing to
listen to the "trainer" (Holy Spirit, God's Word)with
unfavorable consequences. Begin today to listen only to the
trainer and reject (cast down) everything that goes against
Him, and watch for the favorable results to manifest.

Daily Prayer:

Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and
come in before this people, teach me good judgment and
knowledge. Give me understanding and I will keep your word,

make me to go in the path of thy commandments and incline
my heart unto your word and not to coveteousness. Turn away

my eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken me in thy way.

(2Chr. 1:10, Ps. 119:66, 33-37)
